The Containment Principle is an executive series hosted by Illumio alongside Innovatus Media, now running across South Europe and META. The purpose of the series is to connect CISOs and senior security leaders with each other, providing a platform to openly explore how organisations see risk, stop lateral movement, and contain breaches before they become disasters.

The region brings its own pressures: NIS2, DORA and the EU AI Act are reshaping what boards expect from security leadership, while AI accelerates both the attack surface and the attacker. Breaches are inevitable. Disasters are optional. The question is how security leadership builds for both.
